Proudly Aboriginal-owned, WILD 1 uses Aboriginal cultural practices including traditional tool-making and cultural camps on country to inspire wellbeing for Aboriginal communities in Alice Springs and Central Australia.

Healthy food, Healthy Mind
WILD 1’s Healthy Food, Healthy Mind training program gives participants the opportunity to learn how to cook nutritious food in a community setting. Workshops are tailored to community needs.

Mobile Men's Shed
The opportunity for men to come together to discuss local solutions to community issues. Sessions are facilitated in locations appropriate for each community, and a meal is provided by WILD 1 staff.

Camps on Country
3 day, 2 night camps (or longer to suit your group) for groups up to 12 participants. WILD 1 works with your organisation to facilitate community members to get out on country, share knowledge and improve wellbeing.

Community Food Program
WILD 1 provides fun and flavoursome healthy meals for your event or holiday program. Participants are encouraged to assist with preparation and cooking of healthy food in your community.

Traditional Tool-making Workshops
Immersed in country, participants improve their skills in making traditional tools by hand, from the first cut of the wood, through to sculpting and adding personal designs. Workshops can cater for a range of groups.

Cultural Understanding Workshop
A one day workshop tailored to the needs of your organisation, that covers an introduction to culture and way of life for people in Central Australia. Suitable for people who will be working in remote areas and/or with Aboriginal people.
$590 pp (location to be determined according to your requirements)

Introduction to Central Australia
A 2 day/1 night introduction to life in Central Australia, and navigating the desert. Suitable for people who will be working in remote areas and/or with Aboriginal people. This workshop is held at Ross River Resort or an alternative location depending on the season.
